Is Metoprolol Succinate Used in Children?

Metoprolol succinate has not been approved for use in children, though it may be used off-label to treat several conditions seen in children. For example, metoprolol succinate may be used in children with Marfan syndrome to slow the progression of aortic dilation (widening of the aorta).
