Lozol® is a prescription medication licensed for treating high blood pressure and fluid retention. By increasing the amount of salt and water that the kidneys remove from the blood, the drug can decrease blood volume to lower blood pressure and help with water retention. Lozol comes in tablet form and is generally taken once daily. Side effects of Lozol may include headaches, infections, and weakness.
