EdecrinEdecrin is a prescription medication that is licensed for the treatment of fluid retention. By increasing the amount of water removed from the blood, it causes a decrease in blood volume, which helps with water retention. Edecrin comes in tablet form and is typically taken once or twice a day. Potential side effects of the drug include headache, blood sugar changes, and electrolyte imbalance.
