Edecrin Warnings and Precautions
Who Should Not Take Edecrin?
You should not take Edecrin if you:
- Are allergic to Edecrin, ethacrynic acid, or any inactive component used to make Edecrin. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
- Experience severe, watery diarrhea while taking the drug.
- Experience worsening of kidney function while taking the drug.
- Are producing very little urine (oliguria) or no urine at all (anuria).
Also, the medication should not be used in infants.
There are a number of situations in which Edecrin should not be taken, as well as several warnings and precautions people should be aware of before starting the medication.
