Off-Label Captopril Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend captopril for treating a condition other than those listed in this article. This is called an "off-label" use. One off-label captopril use is the treatment of kidney problems in people with scleroderma, which is hardening and thickening of the skin.
