What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Bumetanide?

If you do not take your bumetanide as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed one and continue with normal dosing. Do not take a double dose.
 

Strengths of Bumetanide

Bumetanide is available in the following strengths:
 
  • Bumetanide 0.5 mg tablets
  • Bumetanide 1 mg tablets
  • Bumetanide 2 mg tablets.
     
Injectable generic bumetanide is also available for use in hospitals.
 

Generic Bumetanide

Currently, both brand-name and generic bumetanide tablets are licensed for sale (see Generic Bumex).
