Amiloride and Depression: Final Thoughts

Depression may occur in people taking amiloride. Therefore, if you notice any possible depression symptoms while taking it, or if something "just does not seem right," you should talk to your healthcare provider. If he or she believes that the medicine may be causing your symptoms, your healthcare provider may recommend another diuretic or blood pressure medicine.
